Since the closing of our physical shelter, we
have continued successsfully as an animal rescue
organization thanks to the help of those who have
donated time, money, and items for our thrift
shop. We have struggled for many years to be of
service to our animal & human neighbors. We
continue to accept donations through the mail,
over the net through PayPal
, in our little "doghouse" donation
boxes, and through our raffles and other fundraisers to continue providing
services for those in need. We continue to rescue
homeless animals through our foster care network. But we can't do it without your continued support. 100% of your donations help make our operations possible. We are able to do more for the animals without the added expense of a payroll, supplies & monthly bills.
If you would like to help, just print and fill out our donation form, indicate
your preferences and mail it to us! All donations are tax deductible and will be acknowledged
upon receipt.
Our “Support For Life” program asks for the pledge of a $10 monthly donation. Your $10 combined with the monthly donations of others will help us budget and meet our ongoing expenses.
Please help us continue our mission to provide a safe haven and quality care for abandoned, abused, and lost pets by becoming a “Support for Life” member and pledging a monthly donation. It is through your generosity that the shelter exists and will be here to serve your community for years to come.
Our heartfelt thanks for your past generosity and for your continued support!
We are also always looking for donations for our thrift shop - gently used items, clean and in good repair.
Harley is a HUGE 7½ year old neutered
male, tiger and white feline. Harley was surrendered because his family decided to have a baby, so there was no longer any room or time for him. When Harley arrived in July, he was despondent, terrified and confused about the separation from the ones he loved. Even after much TLC, it took Harley months to get over the loss of his family. A lot of families looked at this big handsome boy, but passed him over, adopting kittens instead. Harley has a lot to offer…he is now a loyal, gentle feline who sadly this week was diagnosed with cancer. His foster family has lovingly agreed to take care of and comfort him for whatever time he has left. Harley and ACAR would be grateful for any assistance towards Harley's future medical bills. A donation in Harley's name may be sent to us at any time.
